I have been checking my 1.4 athlon temperature it is running atound 113 degrees. What is a good range to look for in temperature for athlons?

you're doing well with a 1.4 if your at 50 or under. "safe" is around 65 and under (these are in C, not F)

A CPU should, key word should, be stable to about....... 70 degs. (Thats pretty liberal) but I would advise keeping anywhere from about 50 to 60 like sohcrates said. Heh AMD promises up to about 90 degs for all of there CPUs but I have never seen one get that high nor would I really want to.

so 113 is somewhere around 30-40 degrees celcius so I should be ok for now...I am still thinking about another fan.

How many case fans and which HSF do you have?

Well I know my fan is not sufficant because it is running 113 degrees at idle. I have yet to bump up the FSB to 266.
