I made that mistake myself with BS third-party sellers. Both on Amazon and Newegg.



HAHAHAHA That was such a good show.

Let me get this straight. Op ordered a monitor, paid for it and Newegg shipped it out lightning fast. Now it's Newegg's bad because you want the already shipped order canceled and money refunded to your credit card instantly, probably because you overextended yourself??? Hahaha.

And that popup that you saw was probably Newegg offering you extra credit card purchase protection after the purchases had been completed. After you clicked numerous times to review and confirm that yes you wanted to make the transaction.

Idiot. Get off my ATOT lawn! And go punch your parents in the face for not teaching you better.

The OP was looking for sympathy with his first post only to get bludgeoned to death in this thread. The fact that he not only willfully completed the Newegg transaction but entered into a second for the same item just boggles the mind doesn't it? Then he comes here to complain about his own actions just like a welfare mom blaming everyone around them for getting pregnant and expecting others to take responsibility for their actions. HMMM?

Not for nothing but if you look really hard you'll find video's of other non black welfare queens. It's funny that you mention welfare and boom a video of a black person.

I've noticed that Amazon has been having trouble lately with "pop-up" 3rd party sellers saying they have the item in stock at a greatly reduced rate than everyone else. Additionally, the vendor says to "call them" to confirm stock before purchasing. Which in other words, get you on the phone and separate you from your credit cards.

I would imagine they'll have to start putting in a better verification process soon.

I would never even consider buying something on Newegg sold by a third party seller. Newegg is not Amazon. Hell, I usually avoid third party sellers on Amazon, too.

Amazon has the A-Z guarantee that will refund your money if a transaction goes awry and I've used it with great results when dealing with 3rd party vendors.

I've cancelled Newegg orders before with their site. Love that you can do that, along with Amazon.

I ordered a QNAP TS-431 from Newegg on ebay, because it was the "last one", and then after I ordered it, and completed the transaction, I ran into some reviews that it was limited to 16TB RAID arrays, because of the 32-bit ARM CPU and Linux. I was planning on putting four 5TB drives I had shucked from Seagate externals into it.

So I immediately (within 15 minutes), submitted a "cancel order" on ebay, and proceeded to order the bigger brother QNAP NAS, the TS-451, with an Intel 64-bit Atom dual-core CPU.

Well, ebay got back to me the next day, and said that they couldn't cancel the item, because it had already shipped. Bummer!

So, I installed the TS-451 with my 5TB drives, and everything went hunky-dory. (Well, except for the fact that I learned that the exact drives I used, are apparently horrible for use in a NAS.)

I've still got the TS-431. I still have a few days left of the 30-day money back window from Newegg, but I'll probably keep it, and throw in some 2TB Hitachi drives I've got that are idle in another server.

Lesson learned, though, read the reviews and opinions about products BEFORE you order, NOT AFTER.

You mistakenly ordered two monitors and you can return one of them within 5-7 days

I wonder why this is not all over CNN?

This is what happens when you join ATOT just to vilify Newegg, especially when they did nothing wrong. We like Newegg here, and many of us have been ordering from them for many years.

Perhaps there's some "Newegg is mean and stinky and full of badness" forum out there that will welcome unwarranted attacks. Search the skies!

We do send emails for each step as your order is processed until it is delivered. I would advise referring to your email after you have placed an order to make sure everything has gone through successfully.
We do have the option to cancel an order; it would be in your order history. If the item has shipped, we would not have the ability to cancel the order any more. The only option we would have left would be to create a RMA for a refund. Once we receive the item we will process the refund for you.
