But…but…but it’s totally secure and this guy was doing stuff he shouldn’t have done.

Guess what idiots this is what unregulated banking looks like. Lack of oversight allows shit like this to happen. Crypto is not secure.

He's being prosecuted. Is that not regulation? And it says nothing of how secure crypto is. People get their bank account or credit card info stolen every day.

No that is law, regulation is inspects & rules about how assets are handled, how they are evaluated and who has access to them and who audit/verifies the assets are present. You know stuff like banks follow.

Problem is Crypto has no rules as in established Gov rules that have been crafted over literally hundreds of years. Crypto bank could spend all their Monies on Hookers & Blow then not have funds to cover my withdrawal. Traditional banking has safeguards in place to prevent that.
Crypto does not.
