I would also give the BH6 the vote, had 2 of them running for years w/no probs - love that BX chipset! I also had a BM6 which I loved, basically a BH6 in a PPGA socket version - was never that popular for some reason - BX6(r2) kinda took the spotlight at that time.

Abit KG7 - AMD 761 chipset. Still using now, I won't be tempted back to VIA, as this motherboard is just so stable. I leave my PC on 24/7 for months with no problem.

It kind of depends on what you mean by tweakable. Since you said "ever created" I'd be thinking about computers that used the S100 bus or my favorite, the Apple //e because, taken in context of the time of origin of their production, those systems could be altered to the point where performance and versatility of the system was expanded manyfold over its original capabilities.
