I'm surprised everyone is saying this movie is good. From the previews I thought it looked like crap.

I find it amusing that just because I didn't laugh raucously at this movie that somehow means that I'm a person that lives a humdrum life? Perhaps you should stop being so boorish and realize that the movie wasn't exactly my type of comedy.

Heh, if you didn't like it then you didn't like it. I have no qualms with that.

I didn't dislike the movie.... I thought it was worth seeing and actually recommended it, but I still only laughed maybe once throughout the entire thing.
I usually enjoy the sort of perverted comedy, but it didn't help much that I found the characters a bit too stereotypical... especially Alan in how fucking weird he was. I have a feeling that this movie would be better the second time or maybe if I was a bit intoxicated .

everybody who likes this movie needs to rent (or netflix stream) Galafankis's "Live at the purple onion" dvd. One of the funniest things I've ever watched
