Get yourself some Cake Puck molds!

The green Dubai filling is pretty popular! FWIW I like the new Mini set:

Get the press too:

This is intriguing. I haven't seen YT videos on Dubai chocolate but posts in these forums have me wondering. The expense has me tentative, naturally. I see the filling for sale online, not cheap (Amazon), and ready made, even less "cheap."

DIY is something I love to do. I've made my own Nutella a bunch of times (can't remember if I've bought a jar of the readymade!). Super simple: Chocolate and roasted ground hazelnuts, IIRC. Maybe some added sugar.

I used to make English toffee. That's not as easy and takes some doing, but it can come out terrific!

I perfected baklava, that was tricky, but once I got it right I stopped doing it. It's very rich! Basic ingredients are honey, flour and butter.

DIY halvah isn't very difficult. Basically sesame seeds and sugar.

They sell regular puck & mini puck sizes. I have both & like the smaller version better:

I bought the knockoff molds as well, but they are flimsy. A zillion recipes here:

Not my pic, but Dubai pucks are easy:

It's fun because they are easy to decorate & you can fill them with anything: cake, candy bars, cookies, rice krispie treats, pie, etc. Endless colors, designs, and flavors:

Very active FB communities:

I like these WAY better than Cake Pops! For coating: (couverture or compound)

* Milk chocolate
* Semi-sweet chocolate
* Dark chocolate
* White chocolate

For white chocolate:

* Real with cocoa butter
* Fake as candy coating
* Colored
* Flavored

Almond Bark (meltable candy white chocolate) is under $5 a brick from Walmart:

Then you just use oil-based food coloring (water-based makes it seize up) & oil-based flavorings (not water or alcohol-based). So you can do like a holiday white-chocolate peppermint or a dark-chocolate Peppermint Patty if you want. Basically:

1. Smash the filling into the inner mold
2. Freeze briefly, just enough to solidify, so like 20 minutes
3. Fill the bigger out mold with chocolate, drop the puck in, and coat the top, then let set!

Her Tiktok channel is awesome:

You can go nuts with edible prints, decorations, embossing, etc. I make everything from protein powder pucks to Reese's cups pucks! Use any leftover treats you have lying around!!

As long as you don't stick your girlfriend in the vent chamber and feed it to her.

I haven't made it yet, but I will when I get the supplies together. I've been noticing how mylar potatochip chip bags reflect heat when you put your hand in. You notice a fast blast of heat as soon as your hand's inside. I'm gonna collect some, wash them, then glue them together to line Spot's cathouse for winter. Maybe stick them up with velcro, so they can be removed for summer/cleaning.

I could just buy a space blanket and do the same thing, but potatochip bags allow me to make something out of nothing, and imo, that's always the most elegant solution.

Leaders of the so-called Free World: You have 48 hours to deposit $250 worth of untraceable Starbucks gift cards into a Swiss bank account of my choosing or else you will have to suffer the consequences. Do not tempt fate.
