<< What I never understood about the whole uproar involving that movie was, Jesus was supposed to be half human, or so I was taught. So what is the big deal about showing the human side of him? If you are human, then you have all those needs and desires, why should he have been any different? If anything, you think it would have made people feel better, knowing he loved them enough to say no. So I don't see anything wrong with watching that movie. But, I am Catholic and I watched Dogma and enjoyed parts of it, so I guess I am doomed already. >>
We are all "doomed"
Straying fromt the movie topic here, but it has been my understanding and teaching that Jesus is fully human, and fully God. His time on earth was spent as one perfect human, otherwise he could not have been used in the sacrifice. But that'a a whole 'nuther topic eh?
