if she wins, the other girls will feel violated.
whoa keep it in your pat sajak thread, buddy

If you have table tennis, then you should have darts, bowling, billiards and hot dog eating.
We'd kick ass in pub games along with the Brits and Aussies.
If table tennis were so easy, why don't you go and win some medal for the US? You probably can't even get a point from the 16 year old girls in the US team.
Bash the sport only if you know what the fvck you are talking about please?
Is REAL volley ball still in the OLympics? I haven't even heard a peep about it, except a couple years ago there was some controversy on a collegiate level about making the girls wear skimpier shorts.
Olympics is really going for titillation rather then sport. There is no way beach volleyball should be in the olympics, what a joke.
Because the US doesn't get 232415 medals for beach volleyball you fucking communist. Just about when I thought I'd see no more medals for badminton or ping pong, there it is. Every fucking day.
ill give you all those but water polo

yes, indoor volleyball is still in Olympics.
It's a hell of a lot more sports related and entertaining to watch than table tennis, equestrian events, water polo, skee shooting, a billion different types of swimming, and some 400 pound person lift a bar over their head.
OMG! France absolutely dominated us for 90 minutes (they could have scored maybe 9 goals) and we scored on our first scoring chance, in extra time to win the bronze medal one-nil.
First Canadian medal for a team sport in a summer olympic since Berlin 1936.

It's the OLYMPICS>.. Go to a strip club.
Man you are a trip you just mad that USA is everything you wish Canada would be.
Other than the word "bikini" is beach volleyball any more revealing or risque than the bun huggers that runners wear? Or the inverted splits that gymnasts do?
Do you hate the human body?
LOL, I gotta see that because that is usually how our hockey team loses. They dominate then collapse.

Let's not forget the male divers. They wear LESS than the Beach VBall players.
Why can't you people just fucking enjoy the games for what they are. Saying that there are too many swimming events or too many table tennis/badminton etc. are just being stupid and petty. All the sports in the Olympics have been judged by the IOC to be worthy of the games. If THEY think it is OK, then it is OK. It is THEIR games to govern -- not some armchair blow-hard know-it-alls from a tech forum
Just because table tennis or badminton isn't a big deal here, in the US, doesn't mean it's not a big deal in other countries. Or vice versa with swimming or beach vball.
Just shut up about it all ready.
My opinion is that any team event (other than relays) where the team is larger than 4 people shouldn't be in the Olympics. Large team sports are about commercialization, not individual accomplishment. That's not what the Olympics were supposed to be about.
Also, why did baseball get removed while basketball stayed in? Baseball is a much more global sport.
