Ya, the last little bit of dialogue between the Oracle and the Architect was pretty good, and the little girl at the end is basically "introduced" as a character that has little meaning until the end of that movie.


In my "dream" ending, there is no end of Neo and Trinity. Neo becomes as powerful (or more powerful) as Smith when he realizes that he can duplicate just like Smith. I was waiting for Neo to knife-hand Smith back at the end instead of simply acting the sacrificial role out to its obvious end.

But........oh well..........

I don't know about perfect cast. Watching Keanu doing martial arts was like watching an Asian cowboy riding a bull.

I think Hugo Weaving was perfect for the role. The cast was perfect, whenever I see any of these actors in other films, the matrix comes to mind.

Matt Damon would have made a much better Neo - he can actually act.

Trinity was cast well. As for Morpheus, any one of a dozen actors could have played him and while Fishburne was good enough, I didn't particularly care for him in the role.

Trinity was perfect. I automatically hate any gorgeous woman trying to act tough. The casting for Trinity was spot on. Besides, Neo and Trinity were both hardcore computer nerds/hackers, and they can't be believable when they're gorgeous.

The Matrix had very good casting.

The Primary Four Characters were perfect. I'm talking Samuel 'Jules Winnfield' Jackson perfect.

Hugo Weaving for Agent Smith = doesn't get any more perfect than that. Off the top of my head, Best Movie Villain Ever. Sure, there might have been better but he comes to mind first.

Carrie Anne-Moss was great and I don't think the plot required her to be drop-dead-gorgeous.

I remember the first time I saw the movie and just sat there with my mouth open. The concept was just brilliant. Weaving was the perfect villian, Fishburne gave Morpheus that little bit of ellusive quality that seemed just perfect for the role, and Trinity was played perfectly. If you put a ditz in the role it woulda ruined the movie.

cast was pretty good then the origional oracle had to go and die.

i think gary oldman could have replaced that french guy. then they could put jean reno in as the guy the pilots the bigass battlesuit thing.
