The guy is pretty mild from my experience. Probably comes from one of the more urban areas and considers himself fairly cosmopolitan. I once knew a KKK grand dragon from the Louisiana swamps who thought the X-Files was a documentary show. To this day something like 80-90 of West Virginians believe ghosts are everywhere and the devil walks the earth. Their political beliefs sound almost reasonable in comparison to all the other things they believe in. You really don't want to know what their personal lives and family life are like.

You can find them in extremely rural areas with depressed economies. To this day we joke that the definition of a virgin in West Virginia is a girl who is faster then her brothers. A lot of them are so inbred they have serious genetic diseases and their local dialects can be so obscure 99% of Americans can't understand two words that come out of their mouths. Once I asked a guy for directions and had to give up when I realized he just couldn't speak intelligible English no matter how hard he tried. These days you can more people like this born and raised in inner city ghettos. They can even have genius IQs, but have been raised in such isolation its almost worthless to them.
