^ Eventually sure, but if working a job where you're leaving for work in the morning, before it's light out, no way am I going to be getting up early every time it's maybe going to snow enough overnight to need to do so, just in case I have to end up shoveling 1000lbs of dense snow-ice-sludge before I shower and dress for work. Besides, by the time I shower and dress, the darn plow may have come through again and erased my work.
Far easier to just get in a higher ground clearance SUV and drive right over it. Plus, there are hills here, my neighborhood often doesn't get plowed till the major roads are done, so there are drifts we have to drive through. I'm definitely not shoveling the entire neighborhood!
