funny how Darrell was looking pretty happy walking out to his truck after the break up text msg he got, and how Ryan realized the thrill of the chase was abruptly over.

I hate Toby's character, but it does give a nice opposite for Michael. And not that this matters, but I thought that scene was shown at the end of the first episode of this season?

Tonight's episode was great, once again. This season is firing on all cylinders so far.

I bet he's not. It wasn't a special storyline created to make room for a temporary new character. Paul Lieberstein wanted out. He doesn't want to be in the show anymore. If he ever comes back it might be as a short story arc once in a great while, not as a regular character.

Here's something to ponder: Ryan stays as the receptionist and Pam becomes the new HR person. I have absolutely nothing to base that on, but it would have great comedy potential.

Andy opening the phone call with "What is wrong with you?!?" had me in tears.

I also really liked the scene at the end where Michael tells off the CFO. It struck me as very genuine.

That was a very good scene. You hardly ever see Michael come out and be genuine like that. It was a good turn of events.

I think he did what Michael always does in those situations; becomes a babbeling wuss. She had enough and just kicked him out. I mean, how much crying could you take when you want a lil sumthin'-sumpthin?

Yup, he couldn't accept just sex, he needs the intimacy (like we found out with his confession about how he prefers spooning and cuddling but Jan likes to film them during sex and having him watch it afterwords so he can improve his form...). He thought he was actually establishing a new relationship to replace the one he lost, but once he was turned down for breakfast, he discovered the truth.

11/20/08 - New Episode "Frame Toby" 9/8c

I wonder if Toby is coming back in this one?

Finally saw last weeks episode and I really liked it. Good mix of comedy/seriousness.

btw - Ryan I think is being transferred somewhere based on what he said in last weeks episode. Good surprise with Pam coming back at the end. I feel bad for Michael but at least the CFO seems cool.
