Sony wants to bring back the nostalgia of the PS and PS2 with the PS4!

I don't think Sony understands the only reason people care about those systems is because of the games. The PS2 dominated because it had games, and lots of them.

They're announcing exclusive Indie games for the PS4 now. Binding of Isaac Rebirth will be free for PS+ users. Guns of Icarus will be coming to PSN.

A good amount of them are first on the PS4, meaning they will also be on the Xbox One. Regardless, I don't want to play indie games I could buy for $2 on Steam last year on a new PS4. =(

The new Housemarque game looks pretty awesome. It reminds me a bit of R-Type, but not restricted to a single direction. They were asking on their forums about what people enjoyed with Super Stardust and what they wanted to see, and I suggested something more like the shmup from my childhood: Super R-Type for the SNES.

The gameplay I saw looked pretty bad, but it isn't finished I'd imagine so hopefully it gets better. I only played a bit of the first, but it could turn out good I hope.

Killzone looks a lot like Crysis 2 to me for some reason. I didn't play much of the series though, so that might be what it was always like.

Surprised it took them so long to implement Unreal's mutators into Killzone! I always enjoyed me a bit of Low Grav + Double Jump + (Zoom) Insta-Gib.
