Actual play styles are different enough that a direct comparison doesn't fly. Mechanically, they are similar.

Seeing what? It's a game where you level a character and hunt loot. It has a story with bosses.

In Diablo 3 you hunt loot basically forever once you finish the story. In Destiny you do too and you even get better loot when you change difficulties for missions and strikes. Very similar in terms of the amount of time you put into it which was my original point. Diablo isn't really a game that to me, you can play the story and be done. I would feel like I didn't scratch the surface before Destiny releases and I will put lots of hours into Destiny. Let me put it this way, I played one character on one location with one strike mission and 5 story missions for 23hours and I didn't see everything that was in the beta. There will be something like 20 story missions, 3 strikes, a raid, and like 5 planets to explore with their own randomly generated events. The time I will have to dedicate to see it all will be incredible. Then there will be expansions released with story continuation, more areas to explore, new weapons and armor to get, and new PvP maps.

I bought ps4 but i have only played 3 exclusive so far and it is now almost a year and barely 2 exclusive launched this year.
So i just want suggestions from u guys that should i sell my ps4 or just keep it for without playing for 7 to 8 months because latest exclusive will come next year.

Lol @ buying a console near launch and expecting a whole bunch of good games, but then selling it right around when Sony announces a wad of games for you to enjoy.

Just hold on to it. They aren't rare or anything. I can walk in and buy one today so you aren't going to make money on it, likely you will lose out. So just keep it. There are a lot of great games coming this fall/winter and a ton of stuff for next year.

The only reason to get rid of it is if you're 100% sure you'll never ever want a PS4 again. Otherwise, why would you get rid of it? You already paid for it, and you certainly won't be getting your money back for it. Selling it at a loss only to buy it again later would be unbelievably stupid

anybody know if you will be able to use a ps4 with a 1440p monitor? I sold my catleap about a year ago because I couldnt use my 360 on it. I know it "supports" it, but is it possible to use with that type of monitor? (possibly with a hdmi>dvi or display port cable)

Works perfectly on my Auria EQ276W over HDMI.

is the res on your ps4 set to 1440, or is it 1080, and then your monitor does the scaling. And do you have to use a special hdmi cord?

From what I remember, the monitor I had didnt have a built in scaler, which is why it couldt do xbox.

That monitor generally has issues with 1440p over HDMI with computers (it is fairly GPU finicky, some work some dont), not sure how well it works with PS4/Xbox one.

If you do sell it, make sure you will never buy another PS4 down the road.

If this were four or five months ago, I might have said yes. However, since stocks have stabilized, you're not going to get any returns on your investment. Unless you're hard up for cash, keep it.

There's lots of games coming out this fall and in to 2015. Assassin's Creed Unity, No Man's Sky, Destiny, EA's usual sports titles, GTAV, Minecraft, Driveclub, The Order: 1886, Grim Fandango Remastered, to name a few.

New consoles rarely see their best games early on in their lives. You've just got to be patient. There's some decent stuff on there though, and a lot of the launch titles are going super cheap right now.

Mine works fine with HDMI on PC too, using 290s. The only thing I have an issue with is PS3. The picture doesn't fill the screen and it's blurry. It's set to 1080p but looks like 480 or something bad like that.

I believe this is because the ps3 can only output 1080p or lower and will not scale to the monitor. You can tell your GPU on PC to scale the image if the monitor does not have a scaler.

So, Killzone is down to 20 bucks. Any opinions on whether or not it'd be worth my while, if I was going to primarily just play the single player? (I'm not big on competitive multiplayer on console FPS games).

I dunno for $20 I guess you can call it safe if you want to try it. I found the graphics great but the story boring and gameplay pretty generic. The multiplayer is pretty different.

I thought it was extremely boring, I didn't even finish it. The gameplay isn't anything special and the story is not good at all. Graphics are great though, that's about it.

Almost 100% sure i had the right password in the first place, but whatever ill just reset it. So i have them send me an email, I type in my birthday, change the password, and then immediately it has me sign in after (not uncommon). The password I JUST made doesnt work and Im right back to where I was.

I liked it for a time but that was at launch with a lot of people buying it. I wonder if there are even enough people playing it now.
