Yeah, but it might run a check on the controller board for those sensors anyway, just in case. =( I am really hoping MS doesn't do their usual peripheral lock based on some arbitrary signed check for 'officially licensed' garbage they've been doing with the 360.

I was outraged that the 360 controllers were $50 in 2005.

$60 now is slightly more ridiculous.

I've only had one controller the whole time I've owned the ps3. I had two, my little brother went through 3...dunno how I guess he gets angry lol. I've never needed more than one since I mainly play single player and online with friends.

Yeah, seven years after the console launched. Finding an XBone or PS4 controller for significantly less than $60 is going to be a rare find for a while.

Game looks good, don't really care what resolution it's running at. I'm more concerned about its gameplay.

Yeah, I don't get the "omg it is not x by y resolution! it sucks" mentality mostly PC gamers bring into console forums. As long as the game looks good and plays good, I don't care if it is original rendered in 5x5 then upscaled to 1000000p.

Higher resolution increases sharpness as well. It matters...especially when the videos of this game were not impressive. No reason it should be less than 1080p from what we have been shown. This is crytek after all and they probably have a billion polygons on the rats instead.

The point is as long as it looks good, who cares what the native resolution is? It will look good, even at a meager 900p. It will run better because of it. I'll take 60FPS @ 900p over 30FPS at 1080p.

It doesn't matter to everyone, and not everyone thought the game wasn't impressive. I know that GTA V, while pushing the consoles to the max, won't look as good as a true next gen game, but I will have way more fun with it than anything coming at launch. Graphics and resoultion aren't the only thing that matters.

What else does ryse have? Seriously...none of the hands on stuff has been impressive at all.

I never said it would look like crap but to say that resolution doesn't make a difference is false. That's all.

i wonder why we didn't have these resolution discussions back in the nes snes/genesis psx/saturn days. even though our tv's could only output 1 resolution, not all games were at that resolution, yet it never seemed to be a problem back then lol.
