Oh wow...just noticed that when I redeemed my code for Sunset Overdrive from the bundle, Microsoft sent me an XBL message. In the message was a code that gave me Ryse: Son of Rome for free. I already had played through the game and finished it, but that's still cool. Unexpected free games are always nice.
They even typed out the actual code and said "If you already have the game, give the code to a friend"
I couldnt imagine owning either of the consoles and not getting Live/PSN, both can be had cheap

I haven't confirmed it, but I saw something about Best Buy including a free year of Live if you buy an Xbox One this Saturday from 1pm-4pm. With the Unity bundle, that's two games, a year of Live, and the console for $350. I think I'm on that.
That same source said Target is doing a buy two games get one free deal next week.
I just found out if you have a 250gb ps3 you get $100 plus a $50 credit toward a Xbox one. Too bad mine is only 160gb.
I could also wait until the 8th and get a console with live free for a year but I probably won't be playing online much with the one. Is it legal to sell the unity and black flag codes?

Yea its true I saw it in their site. I may as well get the regular Xbox with live since I dont care for unity. I could try selling both codes but I'm not sure who would want them.
Why would you do that? The plain console and the Assassin's Creed bundle are the same price. I mean... you could just give away the code if you really wanted to, and there's no difference to you! (...except maybe that warm and fuzzy feeling inside. )
Well yea I could. But it will depend what the closest best buy near me has in stock. Also, is the $50 coupon toward another console valid for any ps3 or just the 250gb version? Mine is 160gb. I hope they take my wonky controller too.
Any trade will get you the coupon, and like I mentioned, Best buy lists the 160-GB PS3 as having a $100 TiV. They don't test it whatsoever (at least, mine didn't), and some stores don't even require a controller for the trade (mine did). My brother-in-law just turned in his 4-GB Slim 360 for the CoD console tonight, and he got the coupon.

Yeah, I just got a code today. I'm about to try it out myself. I trust nothing NeoGaf says, but I am generally down on this game, given the multiple delays and the releasing titles this holiday season.
Traded in my ps3 with controller for $110 and they also gave me the $50 coupon toward an Xbox one. I also have a gift card at home for $10 and a $10 reward certificate. Then I got an email about the shopping event this Saturday and also telling me to print out my mystery reward certificates. Gonna print those and get the one on Saturday. I hope it goes towards the bundles too. I might make out like a bandit if those mystery reward zone tickets give me anything.
