Chances are Microsoft will copy the idea and will come out with it before SUN does...

A: It should ? that's the same card that's in my development laptop"

That's just what they claim. We all know from experience that java in its current form is already dirt slow and a CPU/memory hog. Imagine a whole desktop environment using it.

This sort of thing already exists in WindowsBlinds. It's damned hog-like in speed and robustness... and it's not even Java. You get the point.

I'm not knocking it down, I'm just hoping they improve upon it.

The only thing I saw useful was the way you are able to attach notes to files. It would be nice if windows had a more intuitive system of adding notes to files; you can do it now but as far as I know you have to do it through Explorer.

In a way, they should

Sun has such a damned monopoly on Java...

this has been in development ever since Sun made it big with Java......There are some previous coops at NU that worked on this project. I am surpirsed they did not dump it or release it yet.

They need to throw some AA on that along with some motion trails and blur effects. That would be ticketa tight yo.

I don't understand the 3D windowing concept. So instead of clicking to another window, what are my benefits with this?
