I'm not looking to get in to an argument with you about it, but I would be curious to know which/some films outside the SW franchise that you would also regard as a masterpiece.

The Matrix
Groundhog Day
The very first Mission Impossible
Gravity
Ready Player One
Mr. Right
The Martian
Rogue One
The Hunt
Terminator 2
The Man from Earth

and many more. These aren't all 100% perfect but very close.

But ANH is a self contained masterpiece. That s insanely difficult to create.

Yeah, it seems impossible even now considering the technology they had back then. Took a lot of amazing people working together to make it come true.
