You can see it how you like it but truth hurts..

I'm a single issue voter.. what can you give me for healthcare?

Do you see the right wingers doing anything better than dems on healthcare in the last 150 years?

So your argument doesn't stand up.
It's the same FYGM as typically exhibited by the right-wing, "as long as I get what I want, fuck everything and everyone else".

This guy really is so, so fucking stupid.

By this logic of course the best thing the US could do for its economy is close our ports entirely, apparently. Weird that the US invested so much time and resources in things that make us poorer! If only some genius had figured this out earlier!
Trump may surpass Mao in economic delusions.

NYP says capitulation on China tariffs is nigh.

Not many are going to be happy with a 50% tariff either.

IIRC the tariff was like 12% with the Smoot Hawley Tariffs and it led to the great depression.. someone feel free to correct me on the numbers.

I fear that UAW president who sucked Trump’s schlong a few weeks back may end up like Jimmy Hoffa.
They are just so fucking weird!

UAW 30 year employee at Ford cuts my grass at his side gig. His hackneyed phrase last year was “Trump will fix it”. Not a peep out of him about that issue this year though. Dude made no bones about voting against the UAW contract when they were on strike either. TF?!?! I don't get into the weeds with him about those things though.

My other neighbor is also a Ford employee but he's an IBEW member. Late 30s and he still voted R. Man has a wife and two daughters… *smfh*

He's just so god damned stupid.

People don't want to horde their money. They want to use their money to buy goods and services. Trade provided a way for people to get those goods (in exchange for money), and the whole system helps to create and support all sorts of jobs that pay money that circulates back into spending...
I have a theory: because he's so terrible with finances, the only time his money has worked correctly in his accounts, it's when he's not touching it, so he had an economic understanding that the only positive way of using money is if someone else is immediately giving you more in return. Otherwise the only winning move is to not play. We're in a trade deficit with a company? Cut off everything, that way the money just sits there and doesn't get spent needlessly.

Virginia farmer sums it up perfectly:

“This administration is putting the heads of Black farmers on the chopping block and ridiculing us in public with no oversight and no pushback from Congress,” said Boyd, president and founder of the National Black Farmers Association, who farms soy, wheat, corn and beef in Virginia. “Trump’s tariffs are a recipe for complete disaster, and this time his voters in red states will also get punched in the face.”

That won't shift MAGA. "Black farmers you say..."

This is BS. You haven't made any real criticisms. You repeated far right wing talking points. You were repeatedly (probably a dozen times or more) asked for some evidence to back your claims and failed to deliver.

With an audience that contains any critical thinkers, there is just about ZERO patience for bothsidesism. This goes double when the presenter is clearly from one extreme end of that scale.

Ive made criticisms, you just ignored them and are telling me I havent made any. I provided evidence. Biden went back on his initial orders and fast-tracked resumption of Trumps border wall construction. Where are you from? Not from the US I imagine?? How could you miss the newslines in the months and weeks leading up to Bidens resumption of the border wall. You address that, you hypocrite, instead of claiming I never provided evidence of my claims.

Sure is odd how you, as someone who says they want to debate, has plenty of time to write angry screeds but no time to actually back up his claims.

This is of course because as I predicted you want to argue, not debate.

Read the AP news link I provided. Its not a claim, its historical record. Stop ignoring it and pretending its not real. Thats embarassing. Im here, I will not apologize for having a life and not living on the keyboard.

It's the same FYGM as typically exhibited by the right-wing, "as long as I get what I want, fuck everything and everyone else".

What you're experiencing/ describing isn't exactly out of the norm. It's the same from your first job. Everyone fighting over getting their own piece of the pie. There's no loyalty, no code of honor. A co-worker will easily rat someone out for a promotion.

Of course the idealist always thinks there's a way if you treat people nicely, they'll treat you nice, but that's not always going to happen.. especially not with right wingers. You give an inch but they take a mile and they don't want to give it back.

Fool me once.. shame on you.
Fool me twice.. shame on you.
Fool me thrice.. shame on you.
Fool me four times.. fuck why do I keep getting fooled?

Maybe it's just the idealist not having a grip on reality. Sure once in a while someone will go out of their way to help you but they are the exception, not the norm.

Don't blame the player.. blame the game.

Famous quote at the end of Sicario for an idealist:

You should move to a small town, somewhere the rule of law still exists. You will not survive here. You are not a wolf, and this is a land of wolves now.

Yes that appears to make them far left. Dude is off his rocker.
Your dismissal of all of my criticisms with this great intellectual response is fantastic. Bravo. Exactly proving my point that folks of your persuasion cant debate in civil manner, only dismiss the opposing view as "off the rocker".

Fuck them. I bet a good majority couldn’t vote for the woman and stayed home or voted Trump.
Fuck these guys.

For a lot of imports from China there is probably no functional difference between a 50% tariff and a 1000% tariff. Trade still dies at that figure.

I did read it. It did nothing to prove any of the factual assertions you made. Do you understand how evidence works?

As far as if you have a life or not that is irrelevant. You had plenty of time to respond to other posts, after all.

Fear or hope? Tell us how you really feel. Shameful that you bring this up because of your political leanings. You are no better than MAGAts that wished for the assassination of democratic members of Congress such as AOC or Pelosi. You are the same, you hypocrite, just on the opposite side.

For all of you union experts who have never been on the inside, on both sides, telling me I know nothing about unions, I'd like to hear why you think a large % of the UAW supported Trump prior to the election and even the leadership decided to give his blessing to the ridiculous tariffs of Trump. Is it because things were going so well for them under the Biden admin?

Cultural shifts among the membership overrode their self-interest in a lot of cases. Same thing with the longshoremen, they vocally supported Trump who thinks they should all be out of a job because trade is bad.
