Not to disrespect your opinion or anything, but this is completely wrong. I have run several beta versions, Beta #2, Pre-RC, and now the RC1 on my Dell P4, 2.66 Mhz Inspiron Laptop with 768 MB RAM, Ati Mobile 7500 Video card with only 32 MB RAM. RC1 and Beta 2 run as smooth as silk without any problems whatsoever. The only thing I had to install drivers for was the video card and I used the Windows XP driver from Dell. I haven't had any lock-ups bluescreens or errors at all. I'm using it as my regular OS for now.
Of course I am not trying to run it in Aero Glass or anything stupid like that...
Maybe its me?
