Blood and Wine complete and the ending (no matter which one you get)seems very fitting and final especially if you did all the main quest previously. It was a super enjoyable story with lots of plot twists and numerous ways for things to end up if you missed clues or purposely skipped them because you think you know all you need to know. The writers for the quests had an excellent sense of humor in this one. I'm going to miss this game, just uninstalled it actually.
Just got the expansion pass finally. I kind of don't want to play until I decide how I want to upgrade my PC lol. I need to back up my saves just in case something goes wrong. I'm sad that they won't be making this anymore. CD project red is now one of my favorite devs.

Anyone do the tower quest where to get rid of Defensive Regulatory Magicon (DRM) you need to get Gottfried's Omni-opening Grimoire (GOG)?

I've completed the main quest in W3, and there's one thing I consider to be a loose end as well as something I really wish I could have done:
The third crone who escaped Ciri, she seemed to have made an exit from the story. Every time I saw the crones, the one with the flies coming out of her eye was the one I sincerely hoped would have a date with the end of Geralt's (or Ciri's, not really fussed) sword, preferably through that eye. It caused me to cringe every time I saw it!

I like to role play my Geralt and as cool as the new grandmaster sets are it looks ridiculous to wear something so heavy and warm like that in a land like Toussaint, I wish they put that in the base game much earlier.
Toussaint is still a temperate region by the looks of it, so it's not as though it's boiling hot.
Plus, I'm sure Geralt appreciates protection from monster claws and teeth more so than protection from the Sun's warmth. :whiste:
My first Windows 10 screw up?
--went into Steam to load it, and I discover that it is uninstalled for some reason...
--I usually just let my PC go to sleep and this morning, it woke up from one of those BS Win 10 autoupdates. fine. Restore previously open Chrome tabs. fine
--Open Steam, steam updates. Go to Witcher, not installed, no DLC installed but expansion pass is installed?
--scans for locally installed files, continues download anyway...and my main SSD seems to be showing remaining space that would account for Witcher 3, so I don't know what is going on.
Patch 1.22 doesnt offer any vast improvements to The Witcher 3, but instead offers several fixes to the open-world RPG. The patch introduces a number of fixes to Roach, such as his tail no longer randomly vanishing and being unresponsive during The Warble of the Smitten Knight quest, tweaks and improvements to the inventory system, and additional tweaks to various quests.

- Fixes issue whereby Corvo Bianco upgrades would not complete if players left Toussaint while an upgrade was in progress.

Since I just updated my mobo and CPU I'm going to do a clean install. This will suck having to download all this. At least I still have my saves.As I went to play W3, it was downloading a huge 13GB patch, been that way for a few hours now, only 6GB to go.
I wish the patches were smaller lol.
