At Level 24, no issues. Some side quests only give a tiny amount of XP. Clearing out Skellige contracts except the really high levelled one and maybe some question marks than returning to the main quest. I have to say the beginning of finding is rather bland as main quests go; even finding Dandelion is rather meh. I was expecting more. No I and II had tightly focussed plots this is all over the place. And where is Nilfgaard? Camping in the bottom of the map? Won't they attack/skirmish?

Yeah dandelion was the most boring quest line in the game for me. I like novigrad but that line of quests didn't interest me. I did however like interacting with the 4 crime organizations.

Hehe took me ten minutes to find another minor bug,but there is a way around it,anyway game is very still stable .

It has been incredibly unpredictable for me. Last night was the first chance I got to play since the weekend, and at that point I had at least 20 hours of playtime since I'd crashed. I started it up last night, crashed within 2 minutes of loading. Started it again, same thing. Then the third time was fine and played almost two hours with no issues.

Edit: Anyone have a source for patch notes yet? Everything I'm finding is the "patch notes preview" from earlier in the week.

Was SweetFX broken for you with the DLC release earlier this week?

Ever since then it hasn't worked for me, but I didn't look into it to figure out how to get it working again.

Just got home and haven't dled the patch.

I couldn't play against her after I finished the game and was trying to learn to play. I dunno if it was supposed to do that for me or not.

You can now go around in first person but it's only in free camera mode. So it's not for gameplay. You can fly around with WASD as controls once you activate it. And Geralt will remain on the ground or wherever you begin to fly away from him. The mod, which is primarily a console command enabler, is at Nexus:

http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/28/?

And the free cam in first person is just one of its options.

It works ok for me but be warned the NPCs may be frozen which looks creepy. But at least it's first person (in free cam) while we wait for someone to make a FPV for gameplay.

I read that the 2 most recent DLCs broke SweetFX. So I didn't download them. No problem, as I wasn't planning to walk around looking like a Nazi. And I don't care for crossbows. (Playing ranged in a game with melee combat is for pftrs).

I was informed today that that problem can be solved by removing not dxgi.dll but by deleting/renaming/moving the new d3d11.dll file. I haven't tried it yet.

#1 current crop of mods got broken in 1.05, really sucks cause the author of the debug window mod is out for 3 weeks. I have hopes however since such a mod should be very easy to do.

#2 I worked with free camera a but, used it in my time lapse videos. What I found was

a) Level of detail for trees is based around the camera, but building would be a low detail and even buggy. I could move away for miles and the trees would always appear appropriately but as soon as i approached a building it would disappear from its foundations.

b) NPCs, or namely the AI that drives NPCs are based around geralt only. Both line of sight and distance from geralt would determine if they appear or not.

I tell ya though... the clouds are most interesting. They are an ever evolving ever reforming 3d model, not a big one but enough shape to accurately reflect the sun/moon. Someone spent a ton of time on these. They are not bitmaps.

Says improved camera smoothness and game performance on the new patch have you guys experienced this???

Yes, game definitely feels smoother in many respects. It's harder for me to estimate how much though, as I never had any issues with smoothness and performance before the patch.. Plus I play at 60 FPS locked Vsync.

Some spoilers in those patch notes. Game did seem smoother although the fps seemed unchanged.

GMG are the ones who are getting their cheap codes from an undisclosed third party, and then their download servers totally collapsed on release day.

What drivers are people with amd cards running? I noticed after the patch the game camera is better but it seems performance is worse for me than before the patch. Maybe it's just me since I haven't played in some time.

Still using 14.12s here ,very stable game however still a few bugs need to be squashed via game patches down the road.

I really hate the mutagen system in this game. Since I have been playing (level 14 now), I have yet to find a SINGLE red mutagen!

I have found plenty of named red mutagens, but I can't use those to make greater red mutagens. Only lesser red mutagens can make greater ones.

I even looked at this red mutagen farming guide and followed everything exactly. I killed the fiend three times, and those Endregas three times as well, but all I got were either named mutagens or less blue and green ones.

This has to be a bug of some sort!

They do seem to be much rarer than the green/blue, but I've got a few. Enough to make one greater red mutagen at least. But yea I think you should be able to craft a higher grade mutagen from all the useless named mutagens.

Another thing I noticed just now. Went to craft some mutagen upgrades, and now it says I already have that item if I try to create another blue mutagen from lesser mutagens for instance. Basically if you have one mutagen, you can't craft another. So guess I'd have to drop it, craft another, then pick the original back up. Must be a bug introduced in 1.05. ..

That was broken as well as crafting for some of the non-refillable potion items.

I had out of combat bug where you are still in combat even after killing the monster for the quest,in my case was a leshan and I could not loot his body or anything(was still in combat mode with no mobs around) ,I had to reload a previous save and kill him again.

Horse AI with Roach could be better, had him get stuck at fence or trees when you whistle for him to come, still got the card bug with Marquis Serenity so how can that be fixed in patch 1.05 when its still bugged out?

Also sometimes Geralt won't get his weapon out, just stands there with his fists up against monsters, even hitting "2" key for silver sword does not help in that situation.

I had a nasty quest bug with
rescuing dandelion ,the hidden trap door to rescue him would not open with key,I had to reload that about five times and eventually it let me select the hidden door for opening,
Stability still excellent, solid for me as usual.

These bugs need to be fixed soon as possible.
