It's too bad the nvidia HairWorks seems to cripple performance so much - it does look kind of cool, but even after the recent patch which supposedly optimized it I still get like a 10-15 FPS hit....I can turn on like everything in the postprocessing section and not even take a 15 FPS hit lol.
I have everything turned on except motion blur & blur, all settings at Ultra @ 1080p and rarely see below 50fps on this GTX 970. I still have not seen more than 1.5GB VRAM usage, I kind of wonder how they did that although I guess the texture resolutions aren't gigantic but seem good enough to me.
The only thing I don't like was mentioned here already - how you can get into people's homes and just take all their shit and they don't care. Like being in the castle place early on, you can just take everything. To me it's immersion breaking and sure you can just not take the stuff but it feels like it's all there for you to just take - why else the game developers even put it there? But still, very immersion breaking to me.
I also notice characters hair is always blowing around when they're having conversations even indoors as if there's a bunch of wind going around. I wonder how they left this in the finished game, it happens every single time? Unless it's just me...
I've not noticed graphical issues in the in-game cutscenes too much, occasionally a characters hair is all screwed up or something. Then again I don't look too closely for it.
I wish you could change the UI/HUD and FoV some. I wouldn't mind higher draw distance either. Some screenshots I've seen using editing .ini settings and things like SweetFX look good but I don't know I'll bother with that.
I see shadows going crazy sometimes, especially during daytime with trees/grass. With the wind blowing it makes so many shadows moving around at once that it sort of just looks like a big blob of shadow gyrating around - at first I thought it was a glitch but it seems to be just shadow-overload or something.
