The thing I'm most impressed with is how diverse and detailed the world is. If you only travel by horse and roads you'll miss a LOT! I jog to new areas generally taking the scenic route and I've found all kinds of things. I really want to explore that huge tree on a mountain in south velen, but its still above my level. And there's just so much loot! Yeah a lot of it is not terribly useful, but there's always something to do with it. I really like that nothing is strictly 'junk'.

I've walked up by novigrad but haven't been in yet. Now down in south velen with the army camp. I should probably just go ahead to novigrad here shortly as I'm running out of level ability to clear everything.

You'll need to be Level 27 at least before trying that. Trust me. :whiste:

I've completed III and I can confirm you can still explore the world after. The main quest section vanishes, but everything else is still there.

I ran into the oddest thing today. I was running through a town (i don't care for the horse) and ran past a girl on a rock. but her actions caught my eye.

I turned around and it looked like she was humping the rock. lol

anyway i hit level 21! wooo. tons of ? around but scared of running into monsters that will eat me lol

Had some awesome teleport bug yesterday. Was speaking to some innkeeper and half way through the conversation we were both transported outside the inn.....just continued talking like nothing happened. Clearly this innkeeper is some demi-god.

I find that happens with merchants, especially those that have a local migratory path (the permanent merchants with an actual storefront, that sometimes travel within town).

If I talk to them while they are sitting outside somewhere, before or after their normal hours, and offer to buy, go into the shop menu, mess around, then exiting the menu, I have been transported back to their normal store with them. ....it's strange.

I've been dawdling because I barely went through Skellige...feels like it, anyway, and it feels like endgame. I'd rather dawdle a bit more, and with several of my sidequests hitting into level 34, 37 and such (yes, I know those suggestions are stupid), I wonder how far off the main quest they are. Of course, I'm feeling way overleveled for the content that is left to me--even the stuff at my supposed level...and I'm on the hardest difficulty now. There are some fun fights to be had though--one abandoned village that I found, which is prowled by foglets. There seems to be some story to it that I have not unlcocked or discovered yet.

There is a quest with Ciri that determines the ending that relates to Skjall. That came out rather obtuse didn't it. :whiste:

If you've explored thoroughly then end game does top out at around Level 34. That isn't the cap though I have armour that required 39+. Mastercrafted Ursine armour will do the job though.

I'm a few hours in while playing normal difficulty. Can someone explain the most efficient way to recover health? I've been using food and drink but money has been scarce so my supplies are limited. My guess is I'm missing some obvious yet crucial game mechanic. Thanks in advance.

Meditating for even just an hour will recover full health on normal difficulty settings.

Lol ok I feel stupid now. I never bothered to meditate until I hit the Noonwraith at the well. Since I was already at full health I didn't notice the regen. Thanks for the info.

There's a passive skill that makes you regen health during daylight hours (which is like 3AM - 9PM in this game), but it isn't necessary on normal difficulty thanks to meditation. If you bump up the difficulty, just remember that you lose that regen on meditate. Even then I haven't bothered with the health regen skill because by level 10 or so you'll have collected so much random food that you're unlikely to run out.

That's what I figured. I was waiting for either a free iPod or a link to subscribe to some crappy YouTube channel lol.

Over 137 hours now and still not finished W3,found some more bugs like Roach your horse disappears,using X key did nothing and then after 30 minutes he finally showed up.

Had the bug where you get stuck between building and side of a wall and can't jump out,reload an earlier save is the only option.



I finally crafted my Mastercrafted Witcher Feline silver and steel swords(level 30),going to craft my Feline Witcher armour next(Mastercrafted,level 31 needed).

I'm at level 31 now so a powerhouse at the moment,hoping next patch is out soon,still can't play Gwent with some NPCs due to bugs,still got the druid bug where you can't talk to him and pick up the new quest at his location.


Great game however but lots of bugs still need fixing.

I did that quest quite fun,found another bug ie final horse race, race horse with no jockey,only crowd there so you can't start the race at all.

Right after the weekend we are planning to release a hotfix for PC (1.06). It will address the most reported issues by the community.

You can find the list of changes below. Of course the console version will follow shortly after (will be numbered 1.05) and will include some additional changes such as the save game issues fix and the money cap.

- Fixes the endless loading screen when fighting the Ice Giant during the quest 'Lord of Undvik'
- Geralt's clothes will no longer be wet after leaving the menu
- The gate in the crypt now works correctly during the quest 'Scavenger Hunt: Viper School Gear'
- Fixes the lack of interaction with Roche on Oxenfurt Bridge in the quest 'Get Junior'
- Fixes an issue that prevented players from creating more than one item via Crafting/Alchemy

We will let you know once more details become available.

Nothing there I've had issues with,however fix for final horse race and Gwent card playing would help me a lot.

Probably be finished with the game before a decent patch is out however.

Level 28 trying to take on the boss at the top of the mountain pass= Imlerith -I do well until he drops his shield and mask- then he kicks my butt. Only tried 2 times but figure I am missing something. He is soo easy until he drops his mask and shield, then wow... he "insta- travels" so fast and hits fast and hard and it prevents me from even using any magic or food. IF any body has insight on this fight . Let me know. I am playing on second hardest setting.

I think I am in trouble regarding the ladies as well- couldn't resist either Triss or Yennifer- so now I figure I will have to pay for that. LOL Well, seriously - what sterile kick butt fighter turns down a chance to be intimate with a beautiful lady?? Really !!

Roll, don't dodge. DO it often and you have to take it a couple hits at a time. Then roll away again.

I feel there is going to be a Witcher 4 down the road but not for awhile.
