Thermaltake's 80mm fan, 46cfm@27dB??!

What you guys think about this fan?

46cfm for 27dB... that's way better than most 30dB fans out there...
Is that an error on thermaltake website??

If that is indeed the case, that would be perfect for the AX-7 Im planning on getting when I upgrade my CPU. I found that fan online for $9, so I think Ill give it a try.

As with all thermaltake fans, dont look at the db rating too closely. The volcano2 fan that I once had definitely didnt sound as quiet as the specs said.

Thermaltake likes to exaggerate their specs and also overhype them

"thin fin technology" for the heatsink, how is that a technology?

Their 46 CFM claim is a little on the high side. Most 2900RPM 80mm fans are in the mid to high 30's. I've seen only two 80mm fans that break the 40CFM barrier at 2900RPM.
