I usually get banned for a month at a time for mod callouts, so I'm guessing that. He may have cooled off at that point and resume posting.

That almost never changes to "banned" anymore. for instance, whoozyerdaddy has been banned for at least 5 years, IIRC, yet his still says "lifer." Same with PliableMoose and a few others.

It could be that their temp ban expired and they simply decided to stop posting altogether.

Actually I think it's a manual title change now that I think about it. Or maybe they have to be in a different user group. Like Lifer etc. But if they don't move to group and just set the ban flag they're still banned but it does not show. Just a guess.

Shorty had his quirks but I'd hate to see him gone for good though. He provided lot of cute kitten pictures in the nef thread.
