If you like beer, check out bar volo on Yonge street south of Bloor. It's my favourite beer place in the city.

My favourite restaurant is La Palette on Queen west (at Portland... just west of Spadina). It's a game meat bistro.

If you like ramen, momofuku at the four seasons is really good.

If you like thai, check out either Khao San Road, or Sukothai. Both fantastic.

Penelope at John and King is amazing. Haven't been in a while, it's Greek, moderately priced, right across the street from theatres and in the bar scene.

I was not happy with the roasted lamb I was served.

Roast lamb was at the $20 level, IIRC. I went with the cheaper shit: mousaka and grilled chicken leg. Accompanying salad both times was amazing.

Didn't taste fresh. I have a feeling they served me left over.

Hell, I felt that food court roasted lamb would be better than that.


The lamb chops my coworker had looked good though. I definitely regretted ordering roasted lamb.

decided to skip the line at the CN Tower and just do dinner there, maybe Monday night after we check-in and relax (or Friday afternoon lunch, but I'm waiting to make reservations until I can get some idea of what the weather will be like... obv don't want to go there when it's going to be overcast and rainy if I can help it)

I wouldn't wait too long as sometimes reservations are booked a week in advance....and it's a very expensive restaurant.
