Thinkpad deal from Techbargain

I wonder if it s good price at $1000.
The specs: Thinkpad 570e,PIII500,64MB,12GB,56k modem and 13"TFT.
I am really tempted.

WHAT'S THE WEIGHT ON THIS SUCKER?

Seems to be 3.96 pounds with battery...a very light, portable notebook. However, if you want a CD-ROM or DVD attached to it, it'll cost extra and is best suited for installation in the ultradock, which also costs extra. Not sure whether you can swap out the floppy drive for a DVD drive.

You make tradeoffs with this notebook, but it IS highly portable and great for the road.
