This PSU sufficient for my rig?

I want room to upgrade to either a Q6600 or a 45nm quad and 8800GTish GPU in the future. This PSU is very highly rated at Jonnyguru and is also very efficient. It's very cheap in this case as well. Opinions?

33a on the 12v rail is PLENTY of juice to give a q6600 and a 8800gt all the loving they could possibly need... Your righ shouldn't pull more then 250w, so 450w easily does the trick ...

What if the 33A was split over 2 rails (18A and 15A)? I'm actually getting a Q6600 and a 8800GT (with 4-8 gigs of DDR2-800 RAM though...for VMs)

If you have dual rails rated at 15A and 18A it would not be a 33A total load for the +12v rails. You don't add the rails up like that. If its an actuall dual rail PSU then that 18A and 15A are ratings based on the current limiter placed on each rail. In which case you would be cutting it close. Though the 8800GT isn't all that power hungry.

AJmont, what PSU are we talking about? Many PSU's advertised with dual rails actually only have a single 12v rail. Like the corsair 520/620hx for example.

More than enough by far, unless you go sli, do not worry yourself about power, this psu will give plenty.
