Hay. Disabled a huge amount of services in Windows 7 Professional. I then tried to set up my yahoo account with Thunderbird, but i get the message "Thunderbird failed to find the settings for your email account". Can it be because it need a Windows service? :\

Doesn't sound like it. Have you tried entering the Yahoo settings manually?

Thanks, Yep using imap. But i found em Client now and that works fine
