Thunderbird...

Thunderbird is continually not pulling all of my messages from gmail.. it seems to only pull messages from 2006, but no later

Anyone have similar experiences? Any help?

im having the exact same issue too...only pulls some messages, but not all.

i have no idea on how to fix it...

You know, your thread made me think of trying Thunderbird. Just downloaded it, set it up, and it did the same thing to me! The last message I have is from December 2006, nothing from this year at all.

Anyone have any suggestions for a supplicant for Apple's Mail?

I don't really want to use Outlook, but I suppose I could

i've had that problem with mail (os x) and thunderbird and my wife has in windows with outlook express and thunderbird. i don't know what causes it, but i wouldn't get all of my messages from time to time (including a CC of a paper i sent to a prof a few semesters back that had me freaking out a bit because i thought it hadn't been delivered). i finally gave up and we both just use the webmail interface (i actually moved off of gmail because i like using a traditional mail program).
