What's wrong with tipping the barber.....I always leave 12 bucks for an 8 dollar haircut, except when he fucks up. Then I leave 10. He knows it too, next time my haircut is freakin awesome, and he gets 12 again.

i tip my trash guy during the holiday season. if i get a holiday bonus, shouldn't the trash guy deserve one too? 40 bucks to him and 40 to the gardener. also what's a little change to the guy behind the counter if it doesn't hurt you any. i get a 2.50 drink it ends up being 3 bucks.

Meh, they were probably hoping someone would get suckered into it. When you're in my position, where you scrape pennies eagerly from the floor that have been dropped about carelessly, it's incredibly hard to:
1) Turn down extra money in your face
and
2) Give it to someone who already makes $20-27/hr for telling people what to do.

I ask her why she felt obligated to tip a starbuck employee and not the McDonald employee..She couldn't answer..best thing she came up with was people don't tip at McDonald...No wonder for the first time in 70 years, American saving are in the negative. A penny saving is a penny earn folks...Sorry, I'm just frustrated we had to argue over this (and it's really not about the money but the way we see things) so I?m just off ranting..thanks for reading...

No! You went to Starbuck's to buy a cup of coffee. WTF is wrong with you people? That establishment does not have a product called 'starbucks'.

starbucks coffee sucks so bad, they should tip you.

I always tip the girl who cuts my hair ($7 tip on an $8 cut), delivers (round up to the nearest $5 or $10), sit-down restaurants (20%), and taxis.

anything else is more of a 'meh' kind of thing... if I drop a couple coins in the counter at the coffee place I go to, it's only because I hate carrying coins.

Sometimes I tip at Dunkin Donuts. If I don't have exact change and get a handful of change back I'll throw that in the cup. Or if the girl is cute! Haha!

I don't tip anywhere I get food or drinks over a counter or through a window. Unless it's a bar. I'll tip a bartender.
