Then he shouldn't have given the skunk so much damn sleeping pills and hauled it off himself. I just can't stand it when animals are abused. Most people wouldn't even be able to take all that and he gave it to a tiny skunk? Bullsh!t.

Sorry, that just makes me really mad.

That or this...

What I like... giving sleeping pills = cruelty.

Last time I checked, wasn't OD'ing on sleeping pills the "easy painless way" to commit suicide? You just go to sleep and not wake up. So what he should have shot it instead?

How is trapping, drugging and releasing a wild animal next to the pool NOT cruelty to animals? I hope the asshole burns!

Your collective IQ must be dropping from the time you spent here. SKUNK ARE PESTS and they should be TERMINATED at all cost.

Don't try to intimidate people here with your 44000 postm because it wont work. Now you can go happily FVCK Off

He didn't torture it or anything. The skunk threatens his living.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Threatens his living! HAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!! ROFLMFAOPIMP!!!

I guess you don't consider rabies or a stink annoying. Have fun, go get bitten.

So he took the time to test the thing for rabies before "...taking ... off the premises at any time and in any legal manner"?

I'd also like to see what defines "legal manner" as well. He had the damn thing trapped. He didn't have to kill it.

This is true.

So which part did you lie about? Were you lying when you said it walked off? Or were you lying when you said that you let it drown in the pool?

1) it walked out of the cage
2) it walked around the house and into the pool
3) I pulled it out with a net within 30 seconds
4) it was gone the next morning

You're completely ignoring the issue and it's obvious that you are. Did it drown in the pool like you said it did, or did you watch it walk away like you said it did?

Its funny how everyone focuses on "Kill, died, dead" etc, nevermind the fact that it probably didnt die.

Is it too much to ask exactly what happened as far as the police?

They just show up and look around and leave?

I can see how something like that would make you wanna step away though.

Something should have "fallen" on the skunk, followed by pics of it's guts shot out everywhere.

Sleeping pills=Cruelty? Stop smoking crack.

Well you don't try to "intimitate" people with your spelling either.

Nah, the cruelty part is where he drugged it AFTER he already had it trapped. Trap it, take it off the property, and release it like the law says you're supposed to in California. Not trap it, drug it, release it next to the pool, let it drown, etc.

Well, see, this is what I'm trying to get an answer about. ArmenK said it drown. He also said it walked away. Which is the truth? Why is he trying to cover his tracks by saying it walked away now that someone's gone to the authorities about it?

Guess your selective reading missed the next lines:
Fish and Game regulations prohibit the relocation of skunks and other wildlife without written permission of the Department of Fish and Game. The prevalence of rabies in the skunk population is one of several major reasons for denying relocation.

So he was expected to keep it? He couldn't legally relocate it.

WHAT?!

Did you fvcking read the excerpt from the Fish and Game laws up there?

The California Fish and Game Code classifies skunks as nongame mammals. Nongame mammals that are injuring or threatening property may be taken by the owner or tenant of the premises at any time and in any legal manner. Fish and Game regulations prohibit the relocation of skunks and other wildlife without written permission of the Department of Fish and Game. The prevalence of rabies in the skunk population is one of several major reasons for denying relocation. For further information on the legal status of skunks, contact the California Department of Fish and Game.

When did I say I watched it walk away? I mean it walked away when I released it, but it went to the pool and I pulled it out. After that I left it alone until morning at which time it was gone.

So did it come back later and drown? Were you lying about standing there and doing nothing while watching it drown in your pool?

2 investigators came by and questioned me. They had a printout of the ATOT thread. They said they have reported it to the city attorney's office and humane society.

Some kind words from the mods changed my mind... I am not leaving, just taking a break for a while.

Good.
