Nah, the cruelty part is where he drugged it AFTER he already had it trapped. Trap it, take it off the property, and release it like the law says you're supposed to in California. Not trap it, drug it, release it next to the pool, let it drown, etc.

When did I say I watched it walk away? I mean it walked away when I released it, but it went to the pool and I pulled it out. After that I left it alone until morning at which time it was gone.
So did it come back later and drown? Were you lying about standing there and doing nothing while watching it drown in your pool?

I'd grab the pool scooper thingy too. However, I wouldn't post pictures about it and a thread asking how to kill it. Neither would I then suddenly go looking for the pool-scooper-thingy out of good will to save it's life before it drown. Yeah right. The OP knew exactly what he was doing and he killed it in an inhumane way. Oh, and before you ask, I don't agree with the "humane society" places that suffocate animals to death.
