I'm about 90 with both primaries on only purple gear. A lot of it is just getting enough rolls on purple gear to find one with good stats. You can start stacking stats after awhile. Russian consolute on hard is probably the safest way to get more purples. like 6 drops per round. Running in the DZ will net you a ton of purples as well, but can be pretty risky.

First of all, congratulations on getting to Level 30. On average it takes 20 hours to do, so I know you've put the time in. This will help you decide what to do next, where to go, and how to do it.

1. 100% All Wings:
If you haven't done so already, you need to finish upgrading your "Wings". By upgrading your wings, you make yourself more powerful.
This is your FIRST Priority, so go finish your Main Missions, and if you've done that, do encounters related to the materials you need.

2. General Assembly:
Usually, when you hit level 30, you'll still have some blues equipped, so lets fix that.
You need to get to a baseline in all three stats for the benefit of the community, and to save you time later.

DPS: 80K+ DPS / 60k+ Health / 15k+ Skill Power
Healer: 55K+ DPS / 70k+ Health / 25k+ Skill Power
Tank: 65K+ DPS / 85k+ Health / 20k+ Skill Power

well I'm at 70K DPS, 81K Health & 15K Skill Power so I guess I'm ready for something. been doing missions on hard especially GA and getting purples but no main guns, just side pickups mostly armored based, of which some help. But feel i need to get over 100K DPS to compete with some of the bad boys.

Hold the Key it wants (i remapped so its W) to start the instance, it will ask you to pick difficultly and so on. But you need to HOLD the key and it will bring the options up.

Still slowly grinding my progress. Averaging roughly an hour per level. Could be faster but so far clearing an entire zone including all the intelligence before proceeding to the next.

Remember people talking about the flame thrower guys being tough but they never bother me, till I got to the point of freeing the tech guy and the AI switches to rushing you, then you need to unload you clip into each and be moving while firing to keep distance while reloading for the next.

I do love when coming across regular once in the open world and managing to pop off their backpacks.

Which reminds me, came across a named mob by your HQ (fray?), he liked to toss grenades but I managed to have him drop 3 on himself which just about did all the damage to him I needed.

Been watching many Youtube videos.. Really enjoy the tools with huge levels and gun/Armour stats take on the early Darkzone people. They love to talk how great they are and how bad the players they kill are. Watching them shoot 10-12 shots to kill a player and same player hits them the same and cant even take health bar off. the listen to a few minutes of them saying how bad the other guys sucked. I hope this is not what its like when i finally get there, some tool who (stereotype alert) sits in moms basement and has 100 hours of Darkzone leveling in and has a gun with 3 times the dps mine does (not to mention stats and Armour) camping extraction points and puppy kicking.

been enjoying soloing everything up to this, 2 levels from 30 and some PvP darkzone action.

I think I have 2 or 3 more zones to complete in PVE. I'm a bit over-leveled for the zones I am in now. Even with being several levels over the zone, I don't feel like I am too powerful. I think I have like 25k DPS if using my best gun. I have like 36k HP, and like 3k Skill points.

Other than healing, I don't feel that the skills are all that useful. I've messed with every skill a bit. maybe they are more useful in a group?

Most have sp with campaigns and then also have mp.
This game is sort of like an mmo. There is a "campaign" that you play sp or mp but its pretty short. Its sp unless you group up. Then there is an area called the dark zone that is mp only.

There must be some type of stat leveling going on in the backend otherwise if you walked into the opening level once maxed out you'd be wiping the place out.

I thought about it but I wasn't sure if it would would include only online content or pve stuff as well. If it also includes pve content I may get it. I haven't been able to get on and play in a while anyway due to time constraints.

Forgot to multi-quote, but to those wondering about levels... The zone level generally scales to the highest level person in your group + difficulty level for PvE missions. I don't know the exact scaling (the relation between difficulty levels and mob level/type distribution), but that's the general idea of it.

You should redeem it the same way with beta participation reward, there is rewards vendor in the hallway between medical and security wings.

Farm division tech, it's the resource to get right after phoenix credits. Can't emphasize this enough, you will need hundreds of yellow division tech to craft good gear, assuming it only takes a a few rolls to get desired attributes.
I bought a SA-58 blueprint, then crafted a yellow magazine. After two attempts, I had a 102% magazine and a 26% fire rate boost, it's primary weakness of mag size was eliminated by doubling the ammo capacity.

ok, these bugs (i assume they are bugs) with stats need to get fixed. So annoying.

Gear indicates it's better than what I have but when I equip it, nothing changes!
so is it not better, or is it better but doesn't change my stat?

Was having weird issues with my KB when playing, guess you can either delete the games profile which it installs into the logi software or just go into the options and prevent programs from effecting the light output.
