fix what exactly

Lots of stuff.

The absurd amount of RNG on gear.

The stingy drop rate of gear.

The amount of absolutely garbage talents in the game.

The fact that only SMG and DMR are really viable.

The incursion that is a POS wave mode

The gank fest that is the DZ.

Hacker/glitchers

The game is broken in so many ways and just isn't rewarding. The latest state of the game yesterday made it sound like they still have no fricken clue what they are doing.

I know things are wrong just wanted a list.

Supposedly the next patch is going to increase high end loot drops. Unfortunately that's about all it addresses from that list.

yeah high end loot drops in the problematic DZ zone.

just make the hackers / rouges more stronger and not fix the issue of the casuals.

At least now we know where the name Massive comes from.... Massive fail...

The DZ has been relatively hacker free for 2+ weeks now. The bans that have been going out have really cleaned it up. Haven't seen an obvious hacker in a long time.

Massive is also adding a 200+ gear score bracket to the DZ which should also greatly help the more casual player then again I also see people equipping gear solely based on gear score alone with no regard to stats so...

Isnt that fun?

I wouldn't really care if I didn't lose XP and DZ funds every time. That mechanic needs to go.

Also it's sad how rogues camp even DZ1 these days. It used to be that lower DZ was safe to try to get loot and more importantly to try to level up.

They need quite a few more brackets. I'm 173. Think I fall in the 160+ bracket. Get wrecked.

That should be a 210+ bracket. Because it takes several beats of Falcon Lost on challenging to get there. I've never beaten that even once on challenging but have close to 200. You can get 200 by grinding it on hard. There is a world of difference between players who got through challenging and those who haven't.

Also they can't be serious that they want drops to the main way of getting gear when every day there is a crafting assignment. How can they say they are deprecating crafting?

this thread has gone to sleep. also seeing less and less people on my friends list playing in game. they need to give us some downloadable content asap!

my opinion overall was it was a good game. its not exactly something you can play for 1000 hours tho. just running the same missions over and over again to farm loot isnt going to appeal to a lot of people.

i got a good 100 hours out of the game and to me thats pretty great.

The gear score is easily circumvented. Drop the sidearm completely or pickup a terrible one to lower your score. Drop it even lower by equipping a low score secondary weapon or not equipping one at all.

Also, a skill focused build can easily be adjusted to have it's score fall into the lowest bracket without penalties to it's abilities. A sticky bomb from a skill build can wipe all HP in a 20ft radius, perfect for a well timed shot to take out a whole team extracting.

This is the 2nd or 3rd consecutive weekend I can't even bring myself to launch the game. If we reduce the PVP part of the game to a social study designed to prove that people act like idiots when there are no consequences to their actions, the game has succeeded, all other actual PVP aspects have failed. Going rogue goes against everything the game has been building up to entering DZ, PVP needed an excuse, "rogue status" was the quick idea that got the OK, conflicting the Division's story obviously wasn't a primary concern.

Casual players are learning to stay out of the DZ to avoid it's problems. Ubi's response, instead of addressing the underlying issue, is to throw in more incentives for going into the DZ which only benefits the predators that had no reason to leave it to begin with.

While the counters are inaccurate and me tabbing out instead of shutting down the client has inflated the numbers, I feel like I got my money's worth out of the game. Yet now I'm even more hesitant to pick up a Ubi game than I was before.

The last time I tried to circumvent the gear score mechanic by getting into the <160 DZ I dropped my sidearm and was at 140ish. It still put me in 160+. I figured there was a flagged timer or it wasn't possible to get around once you're 160+ on a character.

Of course, I haven't played in a few weeks, but I saw that mentioned back when I was playing and tried it with no luck.

You need to dump the gear you have in your stash onto an alt.

As Rick Valassi would put it: Wouldn't you know it, this thread got me to consider doing CM, with a organized full team. If you already finished hard, you are qualified and welcome to join. I haven't played for 2-3 weeks, are there patches I need to download? I'll be on 10pm central, maybe earlier.

Did a lexington run in 7:41 my personal best.

This game is getting boring though. It needs new content badly since pvp is so broken.

Is the Tenebrae worth crafting?

No, M1A and M44 are the most practical snipers to get, the perks and requirements for the persk to be active are really the only variations that matter.

fwiw i have it. m1A delivers the damage in half as many shots, at same rate of fire.

They need to structure it in 10 gear score jumps.

Someone 165 is not going to in out over 199. It's asinine.

The leveling system past 163 sucks.

I've pretty much had it with this game but only got pissed once I hit the higher level dark zone. The only fun I have now is running around firing off my flare gun and leaving just to make rogues show up for no reason.

I even once was palying with a friend. We do a drop request. three other show up. They solute us (they are friends) and at the last second they kill us.

That's a good example. A full team can work together but to survive in the DZ I have to be defensive and lead a team that understands the DZ game but there are situations that cannot be avoided. The fact that one enters the DZ with a purpose is the one that gets you killed the most. Ones that enter without a goal can just target players who are there to farm. What's the point of going rogue when you are looking for xp, credits and gear/weapons? That gives a rouge team enormous advantage because it presents them with a piece of mind knowing they have the advantage of hitting first and timing it as they wish, on a multitude of time windows where you are vulnerable, such as occupied clearing a named boss, random NPC's in the streets and visiting safe houses on top of the most obvious one, the extraction.

As for the gear score, the next incursion has a minimum 220 score requirement. I think I may have a useless 240 piece but I need a few more that I could equip just to bring up the total to get into the mission and then switch my gear around. Here is what's wrong with the gear score system:

My vest is 182, all of the 214 and 240 pieces I found just suck compared to it. I'm not talking about one or two, at least a dozen of well scoring gear pieces were just junk that one calibration couldn't even begin to fix, with all the room given to RNG to give you a bad roll.

It's almost necessary to watch that youtube video of how a group of 190GS people did it. It takes an insane amount of group communication, specialization and practice. Doing it with a PUG is impossible.

The next incursion will have the same GS requirement as Falcon Lost, you will not need GS220. Everything on the map is currently just place holder. They are not increasing the gear score of items that drop there but it will drop new sets on the same tier as the current ones. They are also changing the Sentry set to only apply marks when using a semi-auto weapon; pistols, shotguns, and marksmen rifles.

Odds of randomly assembled team beating CM have gotten worse, the player pool is contaminated with casuals and newcomers (the early adopters have in the past and continue to carry more newcomers through qualifying) allowing them to enter the CM pool before they are ready. Can't even blame them, if a fresh 30 sees a set, he'll pick it up, equip it to boost score and likely worsen his set up in the process.

Man its so hard for me to get gear when I get raped by DZ90s doing nothing but ganking.

PVE is horrible for gear since you have to do the entire thing for a single chance at a high end drop.

My next phoenix credit purchase; should I get the blueprint for the next teal gear or should I spend it on the vector ACP 182 blueprint to replace my 164 guns?
