Traffic Court Question

Hi

I have a question about traffic court. I got pulled over for failing to stop at a stop sign. I received a speeding ticket last year that i went to traffic school for. This ticket, i don't think i can go because it hasn't been 18 months. I am probably going to go to court for this ticket. does anybody have any advice? should i contest, ask for probation, or ask the judge for a larger fine and no points?

also, is it better to schedule a court date when the officer who issued you a ticket has the day off, or on a day that he is working?

Just pay the fine instead of wasting the courts time since you are guilty.

And next time, stop at the freakin' stop sign. It'll save you a lot of headaches.

Seriously, tho, for the best advice, you should contact a local lawyer.

Learn from it and go on. I watch for those guys that are rolling thru stopsigns and lights at intersections. If they wind up behind me, they are always the jerks that want to pass from five or six cars back. For them especially, I engine brake. On a two lane road and the cars ahead are braking with the jerk behind closing fast, I just downshift. I have seen some amazing expressions in the rearview mirror.
