Hey, I know there are a few threads about them and I read them. I'm going this week to see them and am wondering if I should spring for the $70 tix that would be pretty damn close or could I get away with the $50 tickets that are back in the way way. Can any one comment where they sat and how the experience was? Big screens to see things from afar? Just curious if I should go ahead and get pretty close and pay the extra cash or if I'll be just fine towards the back of the centurytel center in Bossier..

If your paying the extra 20 just for yourself its probably worth it. But if you're fronting the bill on a few tickets i wouldn't.

I seen em in a 20'000 seat arena. I was pretty high up. Screens were big and bright enough. I dont think the experience would of been enhanced much as compared to a typical rock concert if I was up close.

The 1st half of the show is pretty boring . The 2nd half was great. When I seen them last year Joe Walsh came out and played a couple of his songs with them,was pretty kool.

If you think you might get bored, I remember they had some dancers that were basically eye candy. Being closer might enhance the oogling.

I saw them a couple weeks ago and we were in the 10th row to the side. We were not in the center section, which was good because the center was not raked. Being on the side, we were slightly elevated, and close enough so that I could see the expressions on their faces. Plus, some of the things they did put the instramentalists at eye level with me and very, very close.

Half the people in the US don't understand what an apostrophe is or when to use it. I've seen some crazy shit.

Biggest pet peve of mine, though, is when people use the subject "I" in the predicate of a sentence. You go to the store with me, not with I. So, when Bob goes to the store with us, he goes with "you and me", not "you and I".

Enough, though. TSO are a freaking great show. Well worth seeing.

Just got back from a show tonight.

Great show. Best shows I've ever seen. If you've never seen them, go. If you have, it's more or less the same thing every year (this is NOT a negative).

They're good,, but I think their pieces lack subtlety. Very gaudi.. Not enough elegance. under the assumption that balance would be best.

i have seen them several times in ~10,000 person arenas. they do a pretty good job of making the people sitting towards the back feel like they are part of the concert. without giving to much away, they have people come to the back of the arena during parts of the concert. i have always payed for the cheap seats and never regretted it. you can still feel the flames all the way at the back of the arena.

awesome show. craziest shit i've ever seen in my life. we were 50 yards away from the stage. will definitely be getting front row next year. the stage setup was in fucking sane. they are all over the place. the little sky walks dropped down where they ran to the end of them and played. it was about 20 feet away from me.

during the 'story' telling part some douche rocket yelled 'you guys suck'. and after that about 80 or so yards behind me some other moron kept yelling shit but couldn't understand what he was saying. asides from these idiots i had a fucking awesome time.

I just saw it last night. It was easily the best concert I've been to. The music was awesome, the show was entertaining, and it wasn't so loud that you couldn't hear anything like some of the concerts I've been to. It lasts right at three hours.

I felt bad for them though. They didn't come close to selling out, and they were trying to pump the crowd up, but it wasn't happening. The closest they got was by mentioning the New Orleans Saints. But, you know, it was Thursday night and there were a lot of old people and kids there. Typically not big noise makers.

I'll be attending next year, if they weren't so insulted that they drop New Orleans from their tour...

my first 2 concerts were the later of the 2(7pm instead of 3pm) and they were sold out, but the crowd was boring.

when i went after thanksgiving this year it was to the 3pm show and it was not sold out, but the crowd was really into it and i enjoyed it more then the first 2 times.

we also got the "west" tour instead of the "east" my first 2 times were with the other touring group and this year we got a different one. if you are on either coast you should always get the same one but us mid country folk get it changed up on us.
