Personally, I haven't seen anyone in this forum try to pretend like there's no racism towards whites, Latinos, Asians, Africans, middle easy persons, etc..
The problem generally comes down to where it's coming from, and how often you will feel and it
Racism towards whites it typically, and I'd say almost always, from the general populace.
Racism towards minorities isn't just from the general populace, it's systemic.
My own personal anecdotes, from 15 years living in a downtown urban areas, is that you're likely to find bigotry towards whites from time to time. But, out here in rural areas where I am now, I hear much more racism towards minorities from whites. It's also likely I would've been the same way, since I spent 6 years out in the same rural area when I was young.
I was a "victim" once or twice of verbal harassment because I was white, easily diffused with words.
However, the instance that stands out is when I experienced racial profiling from two policemen, one black and one Latino. I won't go into details, it didnt amount to much, they just inadvertently admitted I was pulled over because I was white and had a shiney red car with t-tops lol.
This isn't the topic. The topic is the stereotyping thats built into a large portion of America, and how that stereotyping paints a first impression of minorities leading to inherent systemic racism towards minorities. I'll readily admit I took part in such things for much of my life, as that's the way of things. However, growing up a but, I've challenged myself to change. It's not easy, and not surprising that so many 'Muricans can't or won't.
