so last weekend my friends and i had a LAN party as per usual. anyway as always once we got everything set up we wanted to exchange some movies/mp3s/files ect. we're all using win xp pro. i can connect to my two friends fine, but when they try to connect to me it prompts for a user name (greyed out as Jeff(computer name)/Guest) and a password box. it wouldnt connect when they tried a blank password or a password i assigned them. so i went and tried every networking or users options i could find to get this fixed but i couldnt get anything done. i think this problem might have something to do with the fact that i have 2 user accounts on my comp, one admin and one limited and my friends didnt have any users (they skipped the welcome screen on bootup.)
anyway i'd like to know if anyone has any suggestions on correcting this for the next LAN party
