Trouble sharing wireless connection

We have a wireless network. There is one computer without a wireless card that is too far away from the router to make a direct link. Therefore I have connected a network cable directly from the closest (wirelessly connected) computer to the computer without wireless. Now, the computer without the wireless card is able to retrieve an IP adress but not one from the network (192.168...) he is able to access the shared folders on the computer he is directly linked to but unable to connect to the internet or any other computers on the network. When I set the connection to be shared on the wireless computer, the wireless computer just loses it's connection to the network until i unshare it. What am I doing wrong?

Do not how you configure it.

To get the Internet you need a NAT for the second computer. But then it will be only one way File sharing.

You can Bridge and have Full File sharing but you would not have Internet on the lonely computer.

Want both? Use a regular method to extend the Wireless.
