Trouble with ATI All In Wonder

When I watch TV from the ATI Multimedia Center TV player, I can't control the volume. My card is an ATI All In Wonder 8500 128meg and my sound card is a Creative Labs Audigy X-Gamer. I contacted ATI and they said this was a common problem, because of the way the Audigy controls sound. They said that uninstalling the Creative Labs software might solve the problem, but it didn't. Is there any way to fix this? Also, I am frustrated with the ATI Remote, because they don't let you customize it. Is there any third party software that would let me customize the remote? If I used that, then I could just tell it to control the main volume.

I had that same problem for a while, but now it works. I can't remember what exactly it was that I did that fixed it, but it can be done. Have you tried the latest MMC from ATI?

Btw, I have the same video and sound card.

Edit: I think when I installed the updated MMC package, I didn't install all the options i.e. the dvd player, ATI Control Panel, etc. Try that. When you reinstall MMC just choose the option that lets you choose what "typically" installed software you want.

Like I said before, I'm not sure what exactly I did that made it work, but it works. Good Luck!

I've tried all the latest drivers and software updates. If commercials weren't 3 times louder than the normal programming, I think I could live without being able to adjust volume. But this is getting really annoying. Any help you guys could give me would be much appreciated.
