Well, after two builds, I've had two out of three BFG 6800 GT's that were bad. The first one was a reference card, two weeks after the build the first card just decided to take a nap, a very long nap. Replaced that one with another BFG 6800 GT and it's been just fine, it also happens to be a non-reference one with the lights and stuff, looks cool. That restored my faith until I went to build the second rig, ordered another BFG 6800 GT and that one was dead from the beginning, of course, I tried it in my other machine and got the same result. So two out of three cards were bad, all from NewEgg, the RMA shipping fees and time involved suck to say the least. So, I've decided to try my luck with one of the new 7800 GTX's to replace the last bad BFG card. I originally went with BFG on the other three cards because of the lifetime warranty, I had an ATI card in my notebook that went out on me after two years of use, so the BFG warranty was attractive. Of the 7800's that NewEgg has, only two have ViVo which I really want to play with, the BFG and Leadtek. Of course I'm gunshy with BFG now, what's your thoughts on Leadtek, I've never owned one, are they a good solid company with a quality product..? One thing about BFG that really puzzles me, none of those three cards came in a static bag. I'm ESDS certified and work with electrical / electronic circuits and components all day everyday at Boeing building comercial aircraft, in fact, I'm one of the few that actually turns them on for the first time and tests the systems at the end of the production line, I know all about soft and hard faults, it blows me away that BFG throws these cards in a plastic box with no bag...shrug
