I'll say this through. I wouldn't bet against the man if here were running today, regardless of polling numbers. Learned that during the GOP primaries where I said that he didn't have a snowball's chance. Lesson learned on that one. His base absolutely loves the man and all of his bullshit.

Can't help but wonder if there's an inflection point where the polling is so low that even die-hard party loyalists (McConnell, Ryan and the like) decide that supporting Trump is political poison. I could see it happening, but it's probably very low -- 20 percent or less. I suspect they'll try to project unity so long as they think their vote rigging efforts give them a realistic chance of winning Congress.

His weighted numbers are still at around 38% which is roughly where they've been since mid May. Personally I think his solid fan base is bit higher at around 33-35%
