i dunno how to say it all in english... but i like the way my mom and dad make noodles, eggplant, brocolli, spinach, tofu, potstickers, etc. one of my favorites is probably where they take slices of eggplant, stuff ground meat in them, dip them in batter, then fry them until the eggplant is all soft this really has to be done exactly right for it to be good though.

One of my best friends is Chinese and he is always saying how authentic Chinese food is FAR better than the "American cr@p." In fact, he is over in China right now enjoying the food, the bastage

In judging someone's worthiness of salvation, you are assuming the role of judge and jury, if not executioner. Your words betray your arrogance.

Of cource, I suppose it is true of most cuisine. Much better where it origionally came from. Except, perhaps, pizza. American pizza has become quite a different beast altogether from Italian pizza. Both are good and quite distinct.

i've been meaning to try real pizza for a while. that and real english fish and chips. i think i'll have to take a trip to britain and italy for a week or something one of these days...

I've been to Germany, where Italy is much closer (duh). The point is, they have some pretty Authentic restauraunts there, at least when compared to the US. I tried the Italian pizza... it was quite a bit different. For one, no cheese on the one I got. But it was very good and I would enjoy having it again.

Oh, and Fish & Chips are one of my favorite meals. It is kind of interesting... the best Fish & Chips I have ever had is in my home town of Eugene, OR (pop 120,000). This includes the Fish & Chips that I have had in San Fransisco.

what restaurant?

i make it a point to eat fish and chips whenever possible in order to find the best ones. i think the best i ever had were the english fish and chips that skippers once served... but i'm not sure if they were really good or i just thought they were because i was little. other than that, i have to say that the best fish and chips i've had are at ray's boathouse in seattle.

I got off the Airplane in Frankfurt, and was met by my Godfather. He inquired if I was hungry, and I said I was. So we stopped at this little place in the airport. I was thinking "probably not that great... it is in the airport after all..." BEST spaghetti I had ever had. No joke, and I have had a lot of spaghetti because it is my favorite meal.

I had some more at an actual restauraunt, and it was even better. The authentic stuff is WAY better than anything we get in the US.
