I've got an old slot1 Soyo SY-6VBA133 motherboard with a p3 500 chip...
I need to upgrade but can't afford an new p4 foundation. Stumbled across Tualatin chips one night and checked it's compatibility with my board, it's simply listed as N/A... I have no idea what that REALLY means... it supports regular p3 chips to 933MHz, though...
I want to know what would happen if i shoved a Tualatin into a slot1 adapter and then put the entire package on the motherboard. Would it work at a slower speed? Would it not boot at all? Would it write my exams?
