Any ideas on how to remove a tub spout that doesn't want to come off?
This is the screw on variety, not the set screw slip on. I've replaced it once but this guy now causes water to go behind the wall, into sheet rock, base boards, nasty.
Right now, I got liquid wrench sprayed in there, I'll wait a day before trying again. Currently the copper pipe is being twisted when I twist CCW. Second choice is Dremel the spout off, not the copper pipe.
Another question, is there a spout that has a permanent diverter for it? It also needs to be 7" long with 5.5" of copper pipe sticking out.
