I'm in the process of getting a TV for my mom. She doesn't care about high-def, play video games, or care about the TV being internet ready. She is currently using her 20+ year old CRT television and says it works just fine.
Anyway, I'm looking at getting her a 40"+ LCD TV for cheapish to replace her current TV.
My brother is leaning toward this one:
Compu USA Vizio E422VA 42" refurb for $399 (local Comp USA)
http://www.compusa.com/applications/...946&CatId=3650
- I dont like b/c it's smaller of the 2 and refurb (probably not bad though).
- Brand is more reliable than Dynex.
I am leaning towards:
Dynex 46" Model: DX-46L261A12 for $399
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dynex%26...ustomerreviews
- My brother doesn't like b/c of Brand. I like it b/c it's bigger and has gotten decent reviews for a basic tv.
Opinions or other options?
