mythbusters? You're thinking like a person who isn't authorized to blow stuff up. If you were in a position where you could blow stuff up on a whim, wouldn't you?

While the logic of your statement is unassailable, in this particular situation it seems as though preserving the contents of the safe would take precedence. You're thinking like a person who isn't authorized to blow stuff up. not unexpected after donnie boy claimed he didn't know Parnas and threw him under the bus.Looks like the flipping of Parnas on cheeto and guiliani has started
Giuliani Associate Says He Told Ukraine That Aid Was Contingent On Biden Probe: Report
The New York Times report is one of the first signs that Lev Parnas has flipped on Trump and his personal attorney in the impeachment investigation.www.yahoo.com
Like the title of Repub strategist, Rick Smith's booknot unexpected after donnie boy claimed he didn't know Parnas and threw him under the bus.
cant expect loyalty if you have none.
Next he'll claim he never saw Giuliani before, never met him, never spoke to him didn't know him.not unexpected after donnie boy claimed he didn't know Parnas and threw him under the bus.

Does it really matter (with regard to The Orange One) ? This is a case where we're not really getting "new" evidence, we're just getting layer upon layer of confirmation of what The Great Blowhard has already admitted. And, apparently, what he has already admitted is not enough for Republicans.Looks like the flipping of Parnas on cheeto and guiliani has started

Way off topic: Why would anyone use explosives to open a safe? Has no one told the FBI about drills and cutting tools? That seems like information they should have.
You can use explosives in a very controlled manner to cut something open with nearly surgical precision. I'm sure they didn't just pile TNT in front of the safe, light a fuse, and run for cover.

Well...hell. Where's the fun in that?
I actually saw him yesterday on one of his many "getting on the helicopter" interviews, basically disavowing knowing Sondland. Yea, he only gave you a millions bucks for you inauguration party. Watch out for those buses!Next he'll claim he never saw Giuliani before, never met him, never spoke to him didn't know him.
At the same time that Rudy Giuliani and his now-indicted pals were pushing for President Donald Trump to remove Amb. Marie Yovanovitch from her post in Ukraine, Trump administration officials were eyeing potential contenders to take over her job. One of the people in the mix, according to three sources familiar with the discussions, was Rep. Pete Sessions, a former Congressman who called for Yovanovitch’s firing. He is also a longtime ally of the former New York Mayor, and is believed to have taken millions of dollars from Giuliani’s indicted cronies.
Sessions and Giuliani have been allies for more than 15 years, and Sessions has called the former New York mayor a friend. The New York mayor held a $1,000-per-person fundraiser for the Texas Republican in 2002, per New York magazine. And he cut a TV ad for Sessions in the final weeks of his hard-fought 2004 campaign. “When there's so much at stake for our country, we need people in Congress with the character to lead,” Giuliani said in the ad, according to a story from The Hill’s archives. Sessions, in turn, endorsed Giuliani’s unsuccessful 2008 Republican presidential bid, and urged social conservatives to back him despite his support of abortion rights.
Ten years later, Sessions wrote a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in May of 2018 citing “concrete evidence from close companions” that Yovanovitch had “spoken privately and repeatedly about her disdain for the current Administration in a way that might call for the expulsion” of her from office.
In an October indictment, federal prosecutors charged Parnas and his business partner, Igor Fruman, with campaign finance violations. Prosecutors allege that the two men acted as straw donors for a foreign government official and gave money to a political action committee which then gave up to $3 million to “Congressman-1,” widely reported to be Sessions.
The indictment alleges that Parnas and Fruman “sought Congressman-1’s assistance in causing the US. Government to remove or recall the then-U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine.” The two allegedly sought Yovanovitch’s removal “at the request of one of more Ukrainian government officials.”

Follow the money.Federal prosecutors are probing Giuliani's connection to a Ukrainian natural gas venture which would have had US natural gas sent to Ukraine by way of a pipeline from Poland. This was a venture of Parnas and Fruman. Evidently while Parnas and Fruman were pushing Ukrainian officials to investigate the Bidens, in those same conversations, they were also pushing for approval of this business venture. They now say Giuliana was a partner. Giuliani of course denies this.
Follow the money.
He's pathetic micro manager when it comes to his schemes. Running the country, not so much.According to Parnas, or at least, an anonymous source he spoke to, after leaving the White House one night (where he was photographed with Trump and Pence), Parnas told a friend that he was sent on a "secret mission" by Trump to pressure Ukraine to investigate the Bidens.
So Trump appears to have given orders directly to Parnas and Fruman on this occasion, rather than going through Giuliani.
Exclusive: After private White House meeting, Giuliani associate Lev Parnas said he was on a 'secret mission' for Trump, sources say
Among the many guests who had their pictures taken with President Donald Trump at the White House's annual Hanukkah party last year were two Soviet-born businessmen from Florida, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman.www.cnn.com
Trump seems to have violated an important principle of the criminal underworld here, which is, always have your lieutenant tell your thug what to do. Never tell him yourself.
In any event, after being spurned by Trump, Parnas is supposed to be in talks with Congress over appearing as a witness. LOL this will not go well for Trump.
He's too busyRunning the country, not so much.
