Tyan S5370 - Code 5F (System Hangs)

I'm having some problems with my Tyan S5370... The system seems to like to hang and every time the last thing on the System Status display it displays the code "5F"...

I have no idea what this code means... I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. (I looked in the manual on the Tyan site and it doesn't list it)

I would rather not wait until monday to call Tyan...

On page 6 5F is listed as "reserved", so maybe used by Tyan for their own BIOS....

On page 12: it lists 5F as meaning "Test CMOS battery and interface"....dead CMOS battery?

In this PDF, 5F not found, F5 is "boot mini dos" again...

Recommend: Clear CMOS with jumper, and, while doing that, replace the CMOS battery...and, if you would report back what Tyan says, that would be helpful,

I replaced the PSU (the old one tested fine) but that did get rid of another problem i was having with the machine powering on... (This is something that Tyan suggested)

Also Im sure its not F5... Its 5F... (They were not sure what 5F was exactly)

Also the CMOS battery is fine...

I havent had anymore lockups but I've only had the machine back up for an hour or so... Ill post back if theres any change...

I think the 8259 function is old, and is somewhere in chipset....but I am not sure about that, sorry.

And I Spoke too soon...

I talked to Tyan yet again... They spent over an hour trying to find someone that knew what 5F was... They kept conferencing people in and no luck...

I enabled the raid and we noticed that now, it would hang w/ 5F when detecting the cd/hdd's....

Tried different drives, went bare, tried no drives, etc locked up on that part fairly consistently... Anyways I'm doing an RMA on the board, we will see if that helps... It could be a bad controller...

Something interesting, i tested the board out of the chassis quickly before sending it out and the 2 times i tried it while still bare, it didn't lock up (?Possible Short?, Dont know i would have tested it longer, but i needed to get the board out by 5pm PST)... But then it was a slightly inconsistent problem...
